A defendant shall be punished by imprisonment for two years.

Punishment of the crime

On May 2, 2013, the defendant was sentenced to the suspension of the execution of two years and six months in Seoul High Court on the violation of the Act on the Aggravated Punishment, etc. of Specific Economic Crimes (Fraud).

The defendant is the representative director of the Gangnam-gu Seoul Metropolitan Government F Building-gu Seoul Metropolitan Government in charge of overall management.

The Defendant participated in the implementation of national policy research tasks conducted by the Korea Evaluation Institute of Industrial Technology in order to ensure that the business of the above G is poor and the financial conditions are not good due to a large amount of debt, and then embezzled the research expenses to use them for other operating expenses of the company, credit card payment, etc.

The Defendant, around April 2010, closed the business on December 22, 2011 due to the bankruptcy of the victim knowledge services industry, closed the business on December 22, 201, and was designated as a participating institution in the research project, which was five years (5 years from April 1, 2010 to March 31, 201). However, as the Defendant changed from the Korea Industrial Technology Evaluation Institute to a research project project on April 1, 201, the project cost of KRW 130 million for the first year (from March 1, 2011 to March 31, 201), and the project cost of KRW 380 million for the second year (30 million from April 1, 201 to March 31, 2012) and executed the project plan separately from the victim’s management and operation of the project separately from the management and operation of the project plan for another purpose.

In the process of performing the above task, the Defendant deposited KRW 130 million of the project cost of the next year, which is the government contributions, into a new bank account (I) in the name of the research fund management bank account, which is the research fund management account, around June 4, 2010, and deposited KRW 380 million of the project cost of the second year, which is the government contributions, into the said new bank account, which is the research fund management account, on June 21, 201.
