A defendant shall be punished by imprisonment for not less than eight months.

Punishment of the crime

On February 24, 2017, the Defendant, as a public interest service personnel, was detained in a crime of fraud in support of Sungnam-nam, and was charged for the same crime on March 21, 2017 and is currently pending trial.

1. On September 15, 2016, the Defendant connected to the Internet items, and sent to the victim false text messages stating that “7.5 billion won,” which is an item of the Internet game camera fluor, posted by the victim C, shall be sold at KRW 487,00,00, and that “the victim shall purchase KRW 7.5 billion at KRW 487,00,00” to the victim. The Defendant sent the sending number to the victim of false text messages stating that “the victim shall purchase KRW 7.5 billion” was changed to the representative number of each item 1544-8278.

However, even if an item is delivered, the defendant did not have the intention or ability to pay the price.

As such, the Defendant, by deceiving the victim, received an item of KRW 33,137,220, in total from 24 victims from around September 15, 2016 to February 4, 2017, including the fact that the Defendant received an item of KRW 7.5 billion from the victim, namely, an item of KRW 7.57,00,00 from the victim’s seat, and obtained the delivery of an item of KRW 33,137,220, in addition to the list of crimes in the attached Form (except each item of KRW 3,10,100 per annum 3,10,000).

2. On December 2, 2016, the Defendant made a false statement to the effect that “the Defendant would purchase an item” to the victim F by accessing the EPC room located in Gangdong-gu Seoul Metropolitan Government to the country of online game wind.

However, even if an item is delivered, the defendant did not have the intention or ability to pay the price.

As such, the Defendant, by deceiving the victim, obtained the delivery of an item 1,440,00 won from the damaged person, i.e., the victim.

3. On December 3, 2016, the Defendant connected to the EPC room located in Gangdong-gu Seoul Metropolitan Government to the country of online game wind and sent six game items, such as clothes, etc. to the victim G.
