A defendant shall be punished by imprisonment for one year.

However, the execution of the above punishment shall be suspended for two years from the date this judgment becomes final and conclusive.

Criminal facts

Although the Defendant did not enter and graduate from the Korea National University located in Seoul Special Metropolitan City, the Defendant was willing to make a false statement by graduating from the Korea National University to work as a school lecturer at the Korea National Institute of Education.

1. On May 2014, the Defendant searched the former Internet website that created a certificate of graduation at a Buddhist site and entered personal information, etc. of the Defendant’s personal information, and requested the forgery of a certificate of graduation from the management department of Korea University and remitted KRW 500,000 to an irregular account.

The Defendant, upon receipt of the aforementioned request, submitted the Defendant’s Internet email certificate (B) which was manufactured in an irregular manner from the Defendant, and printed out the certificate, which was issued in the name of the Director General of the Korea University in the name of the Head of the Korea University of University of Education, to produce a letter of graduation from the Korea University under the name of the Director General of the Korea University of University of Education, and forged the certificate (B) under the name of the Director General of the Korea University of University of University of Education in collusion with the name of the deceased. On June 2014, the Defendant obstructed the Plaintiff D, the Director of the Korea University of Education of the Korea University of Education, who was aware of the forgery in the name of the Head of the Korea National Institute of University of Education, in a false manner, from the victim D, who was the Director of the Korea National University of the Korea National University of Education in the name of the deceased.

2. On May 29, 2015, the Defendant requested the forgery of a certificate of the course of management of the Korea University using a computer owned by the Defendant within the studio 203 at the time of the following day, and remitted KRW 400,000 of the forged cost to an account in the same day.

The defendant shall have the certificate of graduation from the Korea University under the name of the Director of the Korea University of University, which was produced in an irregular manner from the person who was not so requested.
