A shall be punished by a fine of 6 million won, and Defendant B shall be punished by a fine of 1 million won.

The above fines are imposed by the Defendants.

Punishment of the crime

No one shall use a racing operated by the Korean Racing Association for gambling, and aid and abets it.

1. On October 12, 2012, Defendant A installed two computers, TV, etc. connected to the Internet at D offices located in Gangnam-gun, Gangwon-gu, Seoul, through the Internet to access the relevant program to E, which is a private horse-based website, and made it possible for Defendant A to view the racing operated by the Korean Racing Association via TV monitors connected to the said computers in real time, and then received a total of KRW 1,425,00 from the customers searching for the said computer and transferred the same to the accounts designated by the said private horse-based site to purchase the private horse-based tickets on behalf of the said users, as shown in the list of crimes from the following day to the 10th day of the same month.

As a result, the defendant aided and abetted gambling using racing conducted by the Korean Racing Association.

2. On November 4, 2012, Defendant B: (a) requested the said D office to purchase a horse ticket from the said D office; (b) purchased a horse ticket from the operator of the said private horse racing site; and (c) used a racing operated by the Korean Racing Association to receive dividends or lose a horse ticket according to the racing result.
