A defendant shall be punished by imprisonment for one year.
The evidence seized as provided for in subparagraphs 1 through 3 shall be confiscated from the accused respectively.
Reasons
Punishment of the crime
The Defendant, as a foreigner of Malaysia’s nationality, was offered to offer 10% of the value of goods in return for the purchase of high-priced goods from a credit card forged by a false name (hereinafter “C”) in the territory of the Republic of Korea in the name of the Republic of Korea from Malaysia, and offered to offer to “C” a forged passport issued in the territory of Malaysia, including nationality “INDONESA”, “D”, and passport number “E”, and eight copies of a forged credit card issued in the name of D, which entered the Republic of Korea through the Incheon International Airport on February 4, 2018, and intended to purchase goods from domestic stores and deliver them to “C”.
1. On February 4, 2018, the Defendant, at the hotel “H” managed by the victim G located in Yeongdeungpo-gu Seoul Metropolitan Government, around February 21, 2018, by paying accommodation expenses, and by presenting a forged credit card (credit card No. 1) possessed as above to the said G, as if the Defendant was a genuine credit card, and by deceiving G by means of having it settled as if it were the Defendant’s genuine credit card, and was provided with the above hotel room worth KRW 165,000 from G.
In collusion with “C”, the Defendant, from February 4, 2018 to February 6, 2018, by deceiving the victims by the aforementioned methods, such as the daily list of crimes (1) in attached Table 2018, and by deceiving them, received property or pecuniary benefits equivalent to KRW 262,550,00 from the victims, and used forged credit cards.
2. The Defendant: (a) attempted fraud and attempted use of credit cards on February 5, 2017; (b) the Samsung Electronic Sales Agent managed by the Samsung Electronic Sales Agent of Samsung Electronic Co., Ltd., the 6th floor B of Samsung G department stores in Yeongdeungpo-gu Seoul Metropolitan Government, by deceiving K by means of deceiving K by purchasing a forged credit card (credit card number L) possessed by Samsung Tgal L L L L L L L L L L L L L L, as if the Defendant was a genuine credit card, and presenting it to the said K for settlement, around 19:15, 2017.
