Punishment of the crime

The operators of coastal passenger transportation services shall be subject to the guidance and supervision of safe navigation by vessel operation managers appointed by the Korea Shipping Association, and the operators of coastal passenger transportation services shall visit the operation management offices before and after departure from passenger ships to exchange information necessary for safe navigation and undergo the guidance of the operation manager.

A navigation manager shall take measures necessary for securing the safety of passenger ships, such as maintaining the order of entry into and departure from a port, excess of the prescribed number of passengers, and verification as to whether the passenger ships are fit, and shall faithfully perform the operation management of the passenger ships; and shall keep the navigational information necessary for safe navigation, such as the weather conditions of the relevant sea route and the attitude of passengers at a port, after obtaining a signature from the captain to the effect that the captain directly confirms the weather conditions of the ship; the captain of the relevant ship shall conduct an inspection; the captain and the head of the relevant ship shall conduct an inspection; the captain and the captain of the relevant ship shall prepare the inspection; and shall keep the said inspection report in the navigation management office for three months, after checking the details of the “Before Departure Report” submitted by the captain; the above inspection report shall be kept at the navigation management office for three months; the core matters, such as the provision of information, inspection matters, and pointed, shall be recorded and maintained as the result of the on-site visit of the passenger ship; and the number of persons and time of departure after conducting safety inspection;

Defendant A served as an operating manager at the office of the said K branch from around April 1, 201 to March 31, 2014, and is from the above L dispatch to the above L dispatch to the operation manager.
