Defendant shall be punished by imprisonment without prison labor for six months.

However, the execution of the above punishment shall be suspended for one year from the date this judgment becomes final and conclusive.

Punishment of the crime

The Defendant is a person engaging in driving a rocketing car.

On August 9, 2014, the Defendant driven the said car at a speed of about 20km from the Choh Park to the intersection of the Choh Park at a speed of about 20km from the Choh Park, along that of Sejong-si.

Since there is an intersection where a signal is installed, the person engaged in driving service has a duty of care to safely drive the motor vehicle in accordance with the signals by reducing speed and by properly examining the right and the right of the road.

그럼에도 불구하고 피고인은 이를 게을리 한 채 차량 직진신호를 위반하고 좌회전한 과실로 반대방향 1차로에서 차량 진행신호에 따라 진행하여 오던 피해자 D(56세) 운전의 E 카렌스 승용차의 앞부분을 위 쏘렌토 승용차 앞부분으로 들이받고, 그 충격으로 위 카렌스 승용차가 진행방향 우측으로 튕기면서 같은 방향 2차로에서 직진하던 피해자 F(52세) 운전의 G 렉스턴 차량의 좌측 앞부분을 위 카렌스 승용차 우측 옆 부분으로 들이받게 하여 피해자 D로 하여금 약 8주간의 치료를 요하는 경추 4번 추체 골절 등을, 피해자 F로 하여금 약 2주간의 치료를 요하는 요추부의 염좌 등을, 쏘렌토승용차에 동승하고 있던 피해자 H(여, 61세)으로 하여금 약 3주간의 치료를 요하는 좌측 슬관절 타박상 등을 각 입게 하였다.
