Defendant shall be punished by a fine of five million won.

If the defendant does not pay the above fine, KRW 100,000 shall apply.

Punishment of the crime

1. A violation of the duty to take safety measures from May 17, 2015 to June 15, 2015

(a) The business owner shall install a work board by means of assembling the vision, etc., in case where it is feared that the workers might put into danger in the course of engaging in the work at the place, etc. where the workers fall or come to fall;

Nevertheless, on June 25, 2015, the Defendant had workers go up on a bridge without installing a work board in a way of cutting off the wall in the electricity room located at the construction site of the above apartment building.

(b) In the places where workers are likely to fall, as the end or opening part of the work launching and passage, the business owner shall install a structural reinforced with sufficient strength to take protective measures, such as safety railing, fences, fall-types, or covers, etc.;

Nevertheless, between May 17, 2015 and June 25, 2015, the Defendant did not install a safety rail with the height of 401 Dong, 403 Dong, 404 Dong, 405 Dong, and 408 Dong underground floor slab-type mold to allow workers to perform the preparation work of building concrete in the above apartment construction site. In addition, the Defendant did not install a safety rail even though there is a risk of falling into the cutting part of the cutting part of the 410 Dong and the part of the main passage at the site, and the safety rail was not installed.

Where the business owner wears a safety belt to workers at a place with a height of at least two meters at the risk of falling, he/she shall install equipment, etc. to use it safely.
