Defendant shall be punished by a fine of KRW 2,000,000.

If the defendant does not pay the above fine, 50,000 won.

Punishment of the crime

On April 3, 2014, the Defendant was sentenced to four years of imprisonment for fraud at the Seoul Central District Court, and the said judgment became final and conclusive on May 30, 2014.

1. No person who violates the Resident Registration Act shall unlawfully use another person’s resident registration number;

Nevertheless, on September 9, 201, the Defendant joined the Internet, Internet telephone (E), TV, etc. in the name of Sinsi Co., Ltd. in the name of Sinsi, D (50 years of age, south), and used D's resident registration number unlawfully without obtaining D's consent.

2. The Defendant, at the time and place specified in Paragraph 1, 200, committed the following acts with KT as if he/she was D, and applied for the Internet, Internet, telephone, TV, etc. to pay the service fee.

However, the defendant did not intend to pay the service fee at all.

As such, the Defendant deceptioned KT and acquired pecuniary benefits equivalent to KRW 713,280,00 from the services such as the Internet, Internet telephone, TV, etc. from KT Co., Ltd.
