A defendant shall be punished by imprisonment for not more than ten months.

The defendant is an applicant for compensation of KRW 150,000, which is obtained by deceit to C who is the applicant for compensation.

Punishment of the crime

On June 3, 2018, the Defendant sent a false statement stating that “I will sell F (Game money)” by accessing “E” online “D” games at an influence place,” and “I will pay KRW 343,000 to the victim G who reported and contacted this,” which reads “I will pay KRW 7 billion if I will pay KRW 343,00.”

However, even if the defendant received money from the victim, he did not have the intention or ability to sell the game money.

As above, the Defendant, by deceiving the victim as above, received KRW 343,00 from the victim’s Hbank account (I) in the name of the Defendant on the same day, and received KRW 5,486,500 from the victim by June 26, 2018, as shown in the list of crimes in attached Form 30, as well as from June 26, 2018.

around June 26, 2018, the Defendant, “2018 Highest 6766,” prepared a letter to the effect that he/she was connected to the online game “D” at the PC room located in the Southern-gu Incheon Metropolitan City Man-dong, and sold the game money at the PC, and made a false statement to the victimJ who reported and contacted the above letter.

However, the defendant had no intention or ability to sell game money from the beginning.

Nevertheless, the Defendant, as above, by deceiving the victim, received 50,000 won from the victim to the Hbank account in the name of the Defendant on the same day.

around 14:40 on June 28, 2018, the Defendant posted a false statement stating “F (F)” to “K” in the online “D” game by linking the character to “K” at a place not opened at a place, and read it to the victim L who reported and contacted this.”

However, even if the defendant received money from the victim, he did not have the intention or ability to sell the game money.

The defendant deceivings the victim as above and is on the same day from the victim.
