A defendant shall be punished by imprisonment with prison labor for a year and a fine of KRW 50 million.

Punishment of the crime

The Defendant is a person who operates the “C” in Daegu Seo-gu B.

No person shall make a false indication of origin, or make a false indication of origin likely to be confused, or sell agricultural and fishery products under a disguised indication of origin, or display such products for sale by mixing them with agricultural and fishery products bearing the indication of origin.

From January 2, 2014 to November 20, 2018, the Defendant purchased at KRW 569,145,163, beef 140,80,805.56km in KRW 1,660,318,954, respectively, from G located in Daegu-gu, Daegu-gu, Seoul-gu, for KRW 128.47km and KRW 872,228,00, KRW 95.25km, KRW 1,367,830, and KRW 830, respectively, from G located in Daegu-gu, Daegu-gu, from December 12, 2017 to August 23, 2018.

From January 2, 2014 to November 20, 2018, the Defendant sold foreign beef 24,458,459,200 won of foreign beef 13,358,327,300 won of foreign swine 13,358,50 won of foreign swine 13,27,300 won, respectively, to customers who want to buy domestic beef cat with the country of origin indicated on the display site of foreign beef and swine cat as above in C, and displayed it by mixing it with the country of origin of Chile 2.23km cat on February 26, 2019.

As a result, the Defendant sold foreign beef and pigs in disguised manner, and displayed them with the country of origin indicated in Korea by mixing them with the domestic swine scrapers.
