Defendant shall be punished by a fine of KRW 3,000,000.

When the defendant does not pay the above fine, 100,000 won.

Punishment of the crime

The defendant is a member of the 8th CPC and was a preliminary candidate for the 6th nationwide local election.

In order to benefit a candidate (including a person who intends to become a candidate) by means of a speech, broadcasting, newspaper, communication, magazine, poster, propaganda document, or any other means, he/she shall not publish false information about the place of birth, status, occupation, career, property, personality, activity, activity, organization to which he/she belongs, etc. of a candidate, his/her spouse, lineal ascendant or descendant, or sibling, in favor of him/her, or by any other means, and in cases where he/she publishes an educational background in particular, he/she shall not publish it except the academic background which has completed the regular educational background and foreign educational course equivalent thereto, and in cases where he/she publishes a regular

1. Around February 2014, the Defendant made the “2013 Council Affairs Report” and stated the “F seconds, Middle and High School Graduation” in the column of academic background.

However, in fact, the Defendant graduated from G High School on February 1, 1982 (the change of school name to H High School on September 23, 2003, and the change of school name to I High School on March 1, 2014) and there was no relation with J High School (the change of school name from K High School to J High School on March 1, 1995). J High School was designated by the Ministry of Education on December 11, 2013 by the Ministry of Education on December 11, 2013.

Around that time, the Defendant distributed approximately 45,000 copies of a report on parliamentary activities containing false academic background about himself/herself to the above local residents and published false facts in favor of L, M, N,O, P, Q, and R, for the purpose of winning the election.

2. On March 26, 2014, the Defendant produced his name cards of preliminary candidates to his E market, and entered false academic background in the column of academic background as “F seconds, middle, and high school graduates” in the aforesaid manner.
