Defendant shall be punished by a fine of two million won.

If the defendant does not pay the above fine, KRW 100,000.

Punishment of the crime

The defendant was born as a candidate for the election of the National Assembly member B of Gwangju Metropolitan City, Gwangju Metropolitan City, 21st century, which was implemented on April 15, 2020.

No person shall publish or have another person publish or publicly announce false facts concerning the academic background, property, etc. of a candidate or his/her spouse in favor of the candidate by means of a speech, broadcast, newspaper, communications, magazine, poster, propaganda document, etc., with the intention of being elected or having another person elected (in cases where he/she publishes academic background, including cases where he/she is not published by the method provided for in Article

On the other hand, where a regular academic background is published, the period of study shall be stated together where the name of the school at the time of graduation or completion is withdrawn.

(See Article 64(1) of the Public Official Election Act). The Defendant is attending D University E from March 5, 1992 to October 2, 1992.

At the time of application for candidate registration, Defendant 25,121,00 won, spouse 16,65,000 won, total of 41,776,00 won, and Defendant 1,759,000 won, total of 1,759,000 won and 1,759,000 won for the last five years.

Nevertheless, the Defendant requested the “H” located in F G on March 26, 2020, and produced an election campaign bulletin to be distributed to the electorates in relation to the election of the National Assembly member of Seongdong-gu Seoul Metropolitan City B in 21st Seoul Metropolitan City. In addition, the Defendant’s election campaign bulletin to be distributed to the electorates in relation to the election of the National Assembly member of the Republic of Korea on or around March 26, 2020, among the personal information of paragraph (1) of “information disclosure data on candidates” in the column of “academic background” among the above election campaign bulletin”, paragraph (2) property status, and military service records, there is no corresponding matter in the column of “property status (property status)”, “no equivalent property status (property status)”, “no corresponding matter”, “tax payment, property tax, comprehensive real estate holding tax, and tax payment of candidates (property amount) for the last five years”, and “no amount of tax payment of income tax, property tax, real estate holding tax, and spouse for the last five years.
