A defendant shall be punished by imprisonment for not less than one year and six months.

Punishment of the crime

At the time of early April 2012, the Defendant requested C to deliver a forged driver’s license to F in Korea by international mail, along with a request from C to “a forged driver’s license to avoid control,” which is designated and distributed as a fraud by the Pyeongtaek Police Station. On the other hand, the Defendant requested C to deliver a forged driver’s license to F in Korea by international mail.

Around that time, the Defendant, while sending the above data to G in North China, requested that the Republic of Korea's driver's license for the above D, accompanied by the above C's photograph be forged. The above G arbitrarily prepared one copy of the driver's license for the above D in the name of the Commissioner of the Gyeonggi Provincial Police Agency in a manner that attached D's personal information to plastics whose size and shape of the driver's license are similar to that of the Republic of Korea's license and C's photograph in an irregular way in his apartment in North China.

Accordingly, the defendant, in collusion with the above C and G, forged a Korean automobile driver's license under the name of the commissioner of the Gyeonggi Provincial Police Agency who is an official document without authority.

Sentencing the sentencing of Articles 225 and 30 of the Criminal Code for the crime of this case is recognized as favorable circumstances such as the fact that the defendant recognized the crime of this case and repented in depth, the fact that the defendant seems to have failed to obtain monetary benefits from this case, and that the forged driver's license was discovered in the course of bringing in through international mail and was not actually used.

However, the crime of forging official document is likely to harm the trust of the general public and cause other crimes.
