A defendant shall be punished by imprisonment for one year and a fine of thirty thousand won.

When the defendant does not pay the above fine.

Punishment of the crime

1. On May 18, 1995, the Defendant was appointed as a public official of Grade VII in the local administration as a public bond. From July 23, 2008 to August 5, 2010, the Defendant was in charge of the business of selecting the relevant company and entering into a contract with respect to construction works, purchase of goods, etc. ordered by F City while working as a public accounting supervisor belonging to F City. From August 4, 2015, the Defendant was in charge of the business of purchasing, installing, maintaining, and repairing water supply and sewerage facilities.

The Defendant has established a friendly relationship with H and Jeonju area as a high-speed line.

2. With respect to “I Corporation” ordered at F time around March 2010, the Defendant received a request from H to “(State) so that K may be selected as a government-funded material supplier for the purpose of manufacturing and selling lighting equipment in the former North Korea-gunJ, while engaging in the business of selecting government-funded material companies required for the Corporation through the Public Procurement Service, as a public-funded manager of the F Department.”

After that, the Defendant was involved in selecting K as a supplier (State). As a result, around April 2010, the Defendant awarded a contract (19,295,100 won for supply price) for the “I Government Government-Funded Materials Purchase-U.S.C.” (199,295,100 won for supply price) ordered by the F, and (2) around May 2010, the Defendant awarded a contract for the “I Government-Funded F.S. First F. F. purchase” ordered by the F.K. (26,231,70 won for supply price). (3) around May 2010, the Defendant ordered by the F.S. to purchase the “I Government-Managed Equipment-U.S. Sales” (45,098,70 won for supply price) ordered by the F.

The Defendant received a bribe at KRW 15 million from H in relation to the duties, such as the selection of a supplier of government-funded materials, on May 2010, when the Defendant was awarded a contract for the supply of lighting devices to K F, on the alleyway near the Defendant’s residence located in the Musan-gu L, Jeonju-si.

3. The Defendant requesting a bribe from a third party is related to “M business” promoted by the F Water and Wastewater Works Business Office around June 2016.
