Punishment of the crime
[2014 High 3060] The Defendant is an international marriage broker mediating international marriage by completing the registration of international marriage brokerage business in the name of “C” on September 18, 2008, and opening an Internet camera in the trade name and soliciting many and unspecified Korean men. After counseling on international marriage, he/she introduced them to the employees of the marriage brokerage company in Vietnam, and receiving expenses therefor.
1. The Defendant entered into an international marriage brokerage contract with D on August 2012, and, as an employee of the International Marriage Brokers (E) who resides in Vietnam as an employee of the International Marriage Brokers (E), proceeded with D’s adjacent to the G hotel car page in the city of Vietnam on August 26, 2012.
Before the above, the Defendant did not provide D with translation and evidentiary personal information of Vietnam women, and introduced not less than two Vietnam women at the same time to D.
2. Around May 1, 2013, the Defendant entered into an international marriage brokerage contract with H and I, and the Defendant, as an employee of the international marriage broker “E”, was proceeding with the said user’s contact at the hotelhouse located in Vietnam from June 1, 2013 to June 3, 2013 through F residing in Vietnam.
Before the above, the Defendant introduced two or more Vietnam women on the same time to H and I, as well as to not only provide H and I with the documents of translation and meritorious personal information of Vietnam women.
[2014 high-level 3062] A person who intends to engage in the international marriage brokerage business shall register with the competent authority, however, the Defendant, from June 15, 2013 to July 11, 2013, recruited many and unspecified Korean men who want to open a car page and make international marriage at the following website of Jongno-gu Seoul, Jongno-gu, Seoul from around 2013 to around 206, and consulted with them on international marriage.
