A and C shall be punished by a fine of KRW 900,00, and Defendant B shall be punished by a fine of KRW 500,000.

Punishment of the crime

With respect to the election of executive officers of G Agricultural Cooperatives implemented on February 1, 2017, the Defendants are prohibited from engaging in an election campaign other than posting campaign posters, distributing election campaign bulletins, holding joint speeches or public discussions, appeal for support by telephone (including text messages), computer networks (including e-mails), and distributing support and name cards at public places, such as the road and the market, in public places where many people pass or gather, and the election campaign by the method prescribed by the Agricultural Cooperative Act can be carried out from the day following the deadline for candidate registration to the day before the election day. As such, during the period from January 24, 2017 to January 31, 2017, the Defendants were able to carry out an election campaign only by the method prescribed as above in the Act.

1. Defendant A

A. On December 29, 2016, the Defendant, at the Defendant’s home located in Chungcheongnam-gun, Geumsan-gun, connected to the “Nate-on” site as a computer, and using text message message transmission services, would make efforts to 110 representatives of G Agriculture Cooperatives to audit 10 members of G Agriculture Cooperatives who sent her life to 110 members of G Agriculture Cooperatives without their embarrasation, and to improve the actual interests of G Agriculture Cooperatives and members of G Agriculture Cooperatives until the date of his/her life, for which the Defendant worked for the entire life.
