1. The Defendants shall be punished by a fine of KRW 700,000.

2. The Defendants did not pay each of the above fines.

Punishment of the crime

Defendant

A is a person who participates in the election of executive officers of G Saemaul Bank in Seoul Special Metropolitan City, North-gu, Seoul (hereinafter referred to as "instant election"), which was implemented on April 23, 2016, as a candidate for the president, and Defendant B is a person who has participated in the instant election as a candidate for the president, and Defendant C is a person who has participated in the instant election as a candidate for the director at the instant election.

No person shall conduct an election campaign by means of appeal for support, other than filing and distributing election campaign bulletins issued by the Saemaul Treasury in connection with the election of an executive officer of the Saemaul Treasury, an appeal for support at a joint speech meeting held by the Saemaul Treasury, a telephone (including text messages), or computer communications (including e-mail).

1. Defendant A

A. At around 17:00 on April 19, 2016, Defendant A complained of support with the name of 20 pages indicating Defendant A’s photograph, along with the description “G Saemaul Treasury President candidate, No. 1, and No. A”, at the entrance of H apartment in the Seoul Metropolitan City, North Korea-gu, Gwangju.

As a result, Defendant A carried out an election campaign other than that provided in the Saemaeul Cooperatives Act.

B. On April 20, 2016, from around 12:27 to 12:57 the same day, Defendant A complained of support by transmitting the name cards of Defendant A, along with the description of “G community credit cooperative president candidate, No. 1, and No. A” to the cell phone of J and K, a member of the foregoing Saemaul credit cooperative, and Defendant A’s photograph.

As a result, Defendant A carried out an election campaign other than that provided in the Saemaeul Cooperatives Act.

2. On April 19, 2016, Defendant B filed an appeal for support by transmitting Defendant B’s photo to Defendant B’s cell phone, which is a member of the foregoing Saemaul Bank, along with the description “G Saemaul Bank’s candidates, Nos. 2 and B” to the above Saemaul Bank’s cell phone, and the description “G Saemaul Bank’s candidates, signs 2 and B” on which Defendant B’s photograph is indicated.

As a result, Defendant B is not a method set forth in the Saemaeul Cooperatives Act.
