Defendant shall be punished by a fine of KRW 1,000,000.

When the defendant does not pay the above fine, 100,000 won.

Punishment of the crime

On December 15, 2015, the Defendant registered as a preliminary candidate to leave the 20th National Assembly member election in Gyeonggi-do as a non-affiliated constituency.

1. No person shall engage in any election campaign except for the methods provided for in the Public Official Election Act before the period of any election campaign;

Nevertheless, on April 19, 2015, before the election campaign period of the National Assembly member of the 20th National Assembly, the Defendant distributed approximately 300 name cards in which the Defendant claimed the election of the National Assembly member of the 300th National Assembly, on the front of the vehicles parked in the E apartment underground parking lot, including the Defendant’s career in front of the vehicles parked, and carried out a prior election campaign by distributing to the way of displaying a name tag, stating the contents of the Defendant’s appeal for the election of the National Assembly member, including the Defendant’s career.

2. A person who intends to become a candidate for a National Assembly member shall not make a contribution to a person in the relevant constituency, or an institution, organization, or facility, or an institution, organization, or facility located outside the relevant constituency but having relations with the electorate;

Nevertheless, the Defendant, at the G office located in F on October 18, 2015, purchased two banners (a.7m., 3.3m.) for public relations to guide the schedule and contents of the event in order to promote the events held on the 24th of the same month, an incorporated association, and the “J”, which is scheduled to hold on the 24th of the same month, in the aggregate of KRW 100,000 per 10,000 won per page, from the time when it was installed on the cargo vehicle owned by the Defendant, and promoted the said event by operating from the time when it was installed on the cargo vehicle owned by the Defendant until the 24th of the same month with the amount of KRW 50,000 from the D.

As a result, the defendant provided a person who wishes to be a candidate for the election of a National Assembly member and a related organization with the electorate with a property interest of 150,000 won.
