Defendant

A shall be punished by a fine for negligence of KRW 700,00, and by a fine of KRW 1,500,000.

The above fine is imposed against the Defendants.

Punishment of the crime

1. Defendant A is a person who was elected in a special election for National Assembly members in the Celection on June 13, 2018 and held office as a National Assembly member, and was elected as a National Assembly member in the Celection on April 15, 2020.

A National Assembly member, local council member, head of a local government, representative of a political party, candidate (including a person intending to become a candidate), and his/her spouse shall not make contributions to persons in the relevant constituency, institutions, organizations, or facilities, or persons, institutions, organizations, or facilities having relations with the electorate even if they are outside the relevant constituency.

Nevertheless, at around 10:30 to 11:00 on January 11, 2020, the Defendant attended a G event held under the supervision of the mountain passbook conference at E Park located in D, and displayed 10,000 won in cash on the face of the head of the swine spawn in the high spawn, and displayed 10,000 won in cash on the face of the head of the pigs.

Accordingly, the defendant, even though he was a member of the National Assembly, made a contribution to the person in the constituency concerned.

2. Defendant B is a person registered as a preliminary candidate for National Assembly members in the 21st National Assembly election district on December 17, 2019.

A National Assembly member, local council member, head of a local government, representative of a political party, candidate (including a person intending to become a candidate), and his/her spouse shall not make a contribution (including making a contribution at a wedding) to a person in the relevant constituency, institution, organization, or facility, or a person, institution, organization, or facility having relations with the electorate even if there is any outside the relevant constituency, or institution, organization, or facility.

The Defendant, at the time and place specified in paragraph (1) above, participated in G events held by the mountain conference in charge of this passbook at the place specified in paragraph (1) above, and opened a bag containing cash 50,000 won in the above high level while saving the head of the swine which was placed on the high level.

Accordingly, the defendant is a person who wishes to be a candidate, but is in the constituency concerned.
