[criminal records] On November 20, 2013, the Defendant was sentenced to imprisonment with labor for one year for a violation of the Act on the Punishment, etc. of Acts, including sexual traffic, at the Seoul Central District Court on the Punishment of Arrangement, etc. of Commercial Sex Acts, and the said judgment became final and conclusive on November 28, 2013.

[Criminal facts]

1. Around June 2014, the Defendant: (a) posted an advertisement to the effect that he/she solicits women to engage in sexual traffic in the name of “E” and “F” on the Internet occupation brokerage site of “D”; and (b) provided that the above advertisement reported and contacted Korean women who wished to engage in sexual traffic in the U.S. as Mesenger, “I will engage in sexual traffic while lodging in a foreign country. I will receive 10-150 square meters in the U.S., where I will engage in sexual traffic, and 12,000 cent in Japan, if I will receive contact and protogram photographs from women and those residing in the U.S., and I will receive 10-150 million won in the Internet site, and I would arrange to receive money from women who wish to do sexual traffic in the way of “I or Japan,” respectively.

The Defendant recruited women engaged in sexual traffic from September 24, 2014 to November 19, 2015, such as: (a) around October 3, 2015, Sungnam-si M, 415 Dong 2502; and (b) the female sex trafficking N andO, which reported and contacted advertisements posted on the said D, to I, as the broker for sexual traffic; and (c) the Defendant, from around September 24, 2014 to around November 19, 2015, recruited sex trafficking women P, N, Q, R, S,O, T, U, V, etc. to send them to sexual traffic business establishments in Japan and the United States of America, etc.
