Defendant shall be punished by a fine of KRW 1,500,000.

If the defendant does not pay the above fine, 50,000 won.

Punishment of the crime

From December 21, 2006 to November 1, 2008, the Defendant engaged in credit business under the trade name “C”.

1. Any person who intends to engage in credit business without registration shall register with the Mayor/Do Governor having jurisdiction over the relevant place of business;

The Defendant, without registering a credit business, lent KRW 5 million to D on April 4, 2011, and paid KRW 4.69 million, excluding KRW 150,000,000,000,000,000,0000,0000,000,000,0000,000,000,0000,0000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000.

2. A credit service provider or an unregistered credit service provider, who received excess interest, opened a credit business on December 21, 2006 under the trade name of the limited Defendant “C” but closed the business on November 1, 2008. In the case of a credit service provider, the interest rate on around 2008 shall not exceed 49% per annum (see Article 5(2) of the former Enforcement Decree of the Act on Registration of Credit Business, etc. and Protection of Finance Users (amended by Presidential Decree No. 22298, Jul. 21, 2010)). In the case of a unregistered credit service provider, the interest rate shall not exceed 30% per annum.
