Defendant shall be punished by a fine of KRW 500,000.

Where the defendant fails to pay the above fine, one hundred thousand won shall be one day.

Punishment of the crime

The defendant is a person engaged in driving a special emergency medical vehicle B.

On May 21, 2019, the Defendant driven the upper vehicle at around 22:30, and proceeded at a speed of about 60 km per hour depending on one lane, toward the direction of the white road along the south of the Nam-gu in Gwangju, Nam-gu.

At that place, there is an intersection where signal lights are installed.

In such cases, the driver of a motor vehicle has a duty of care to confirm whether there is a motor vehicle traveling along the intersection by reducing speed and checking the side well, and to prevent accidents by driving safely according to the traffic signal in advance.

Nevertheless, the defendant neglected this and continues to proceed at the same speed in violation of the signal while the signal is changed to a stop signal.

From the right side of the proceeding to the left side of the victim C (the age of 18) driven by the intersection in accordance with the signals, the front part of the DNA part was collisioned with the front part of the vehicle of the defendant.

Ultimately, the Defendant suffered approximately two weeks’ salt, tension, etc. from the victim due to the above occupational negligence.
