1. Basic facts

A. Defendant B Co., Ltd. (hereinafter “Defendant Company”) is a stock company established on December 10, 2008 for the purpose of manufacturing and selling synthetic resin; Defendant C is the representative of the Defendant Company; Defendant D was working as the factory of the Defendant Company at the time of fire and explosion below.

On September 21, 2017, around 17:07, a fire (hereinafter referred to as “instant fire”) occurred in the Defendant Company’s polyethyl ethyl packing materials production factory located in Gwangju City (hereinafter “instant factory”), and around 17:48, the combustion was enlarged and the 4,699L LP gas tank installed outside the factory working zone (hereinafter “instant explosion”).

Upon the occurrence of the instant fire, the Plaintiff received an emergency operation on the part of the Defendant Company’s factory gate in front of the F Office’s office (hereinafter “F”) after the occurrence of the instant fire, having followed the explosion of the said plant’s LPgas tank and transferred it to the hospital.
