Defendants shall be punished by a fine of KRW 1,000,000.

In the event that the Defendants did not pay the above fine, each of them is 100.

Punishment of the crime

On January 7, 2009, the Korea Electric Power Corporation commenced construction works for power transmission lines in order to supply the power generated from the power station located in Gyeongnam-gun's Sungsan-gun to the Daegu Power Station and the Aged Power Station, and completed construction works (basic, assembly, and inter-line construction works) with the exception of 23 equipment located in Cheongbuk-gun, Cheongbuk-do, respectively, from among the 40 power transmission towers.

On the other hand, the residents of the Cheonggyeong-do and the external organizations, such as the Daegu Environmental Campaign Association, interfered with the construction of the 23th nuclear transmission tower in the Pacific Ocean, and the construction was suspended from July 3, 2012. On March 7, 2013, 222 organizations, such as the Green Party and the Daegu Environmental Campaign Association, jointly and severally formed the “Cheongdo 345kV Joint Measures Council against the Cheongdo 345km,” and on April 26, 2013, a resident of the 21st residents of the Cheonggyeong-do, continued the construction opposition and assembly demonstration.
