Defendant shall be punished by a fine of KRW 500,000.
Where the defendant fails to pay the above fine, one hundred thousand won shall be one day.
Reasons
Punishment of the crime
On May 6, 2008, a civil society organization with 1,500 Korean Film Association (hereinafter referred to as the “Mediation Council”) organized a “National Countermeasure Council against Import of U.S. Beef Risk Cow Disease Cow Disease (hereinafter referred to as the “Measures Council”) in order to systematically oppose import of U.S. Beef, by asserting that “the phase-out expansion agreement of U.S. beef import concluded with the Government of the Republic of Korea on April 18, 2008 is about to be a stroke negotiation, as well as to bring about harm to citizens’ health.”
From May 2, 2008, the countermeasures conference followed a candlelight assembly for the import opposition against US beef, which was held in the Cheongdong-dong Seoul Jongno-gu, Jongno-gu, Seoul. On May 6, 2008, the party meeting held a candlelight assembly, which is an outdoor assembly after sunset at the Cheongdong-do square. From May 24, 2008, the party tried to enter the Cheongdong-gu road zone demonstration, such as a Sejong-ro, paper, and newspaper, from May 24, 2008, by holding a candlelight assembly every day.
On June 2, 2008, the Government announced the "Reservation for Publication in the Official Gazette". However, the Countermeasures Council decided to hold the "National Action for 72 hours dedicated to the complete renegotiation of the withdrawal of the announcement from June 5, 2008 to June 8, 2008 in order to encourage the withdrawal of the notification of the import sanitary requirements for U.S. beef and the full renegotiation of the import extension agreement for U.S. beef."
Accordingly, on June 6, 2008, from around 19:00 to 20:30, the countermeasures conference stated 45,000 persons, such as flick cards, flick cards, two side of stage vehicles, power-driven vehicles, etc., on the front side of the Korean Council, front of the Seoul Metropolitan City Council, front of the Flater hotel, and front of luminous buildings in front of luminous buildings, on which approximately 45,00 persons were installed, such as flick cards, flicker cards, two sides of the stage vehicles, and flickets, etc., which read as 'blick, flick, public flick, beef import opposition'.
