A defendant shall be punished by imprisonment for six months.

However, the execution of the above punishment shall be suspended for a period of two years from the date this judgment becomes final and conclusive.

Punishment of the crime

On September 15, 2017, the Defendant was sentenced to imprisonment for one year with prison labor for a violation of the National Sports Promotion Act (such as opening of gambling) at the Seoul Northern District Court, and on September 23, 2017, the said judgment became final and conclusive on September 23, 2017.

Criminal facts

A person who is not an entrusted business entity or the National Sports Promotion Foundation and a person who is not an entrusted business entity shall issue (including the issuance through an information and communications network) sports promotion voting rights or others similar thereto.

(1) No person shall provide property or property benefits to a person who correctly predicted the result, and no person shall open a space for gambling for profit.

B (mutual change toC) is an illegal sports soil site operated by D with offices located in the area of Vietnam Ethy, the Philippines, and D.

On March 2015, from around December 2015 to around December 2015, the Defendant was employed by the foregoing D, and was in charge of the management, exchange, etc. of the said site’s entry and withdrawal account at offices B, and if a member of the above site deposits into the above site’s filling account, he/she charged the game money, and if the member talks with the game and sets the betting amount at a minimum of at least KRW 500 to one million, he/she shall obtain or lose the game money up to KRW 3 million as a result of the game, and operated an illegal sports soil site by paying the amount equivalent to the game money to the account designated by the member upon the member’s request for exchange.

As a result, the Defendant issued similar things to sports promotion voting rights in collusion with D, E, F, G, H, etc., and provided property or property benefits to those who win the result, and at the same time opened a space for gambling for profit.
