A defendant shall be punished by imprisonment for not less than two years and four months.

6,000,000 won shall be additionally collected from the defendant.

Punishment of the crime

1. No person, other than the Seoul Olympic Sports Promotion Foundation or an entrusted business entity, shall provide property or property benefits to a person who has correctly predicted the outcome of sports promotion by issuing voting rights or things similar thereto, and no person shall open a space for gambling for the purpose of profit-making;

On May 2013, the Defendant conspiredd with E, F, etc. to operate an illegal private sports soil site in Vietnam.

From May 2013 to September 2014, the Defendant: (a) operated the illegal private sports soil site called “H” in Vietnam; (b) performed overall control over the operation of the site; (c) deposited game money in the account managed by the member of the site at “H” at the local office in Vietnam; and (d) deposited the game money in the said site from around May 2013 to around KRW 500,000 to around KRW 1,000,000; and (c) operated the online gambling site from around 200 to around 200,000 to around 3,000,000 won depending on the result of the game; (d) operated the online gambling site by depositing money equivalent to the said game money into the account designated by the member upon the request of the member; and (e) operated the online gambling site from around 16, 2013 to around 206, as well as from around 2013 to around 16, 2013.

As a result, the Defendant, in collusion with the above E, issued similar things to the sports promotion voting rights, provided property or property benefits to persons who correctly predicted the result, and opened a space for gambling for the purpose of profit.

2. The 16th floor of building I in the Philippines from October 2015 to December 2015, the Defendant violated the Act on Regulation and Punishment of Concealment of Criminal Proceeds.
