A defendant shall be punished by imprisonment for not more than ten months.

Punishment of the crime

The Defendant posted a notice on the content that the victim C sells D G4 U.S. car at the middle-class trading site, and the content that the victim E wishes to purchase SNS heavy cars. As such, the Defendant used false words as if the victims arranged to sell and arrange to sell and arrange the purchase of cars.

The Defendant, as above, by deceiving E’s agent K, had K transfer KRW 29 million from the victim E’s account to the victim C’s account on the same day, and followed by deceiving the victim C to the victim’s account in the name of L designated by the Defendant from the victim C to the victim’s account in the same day.

2. Any person who intends to operate a motor vehicle transaction business shall register with the competent authority;

Nevertheless, the Defendant, without registering with the competent authority on August 26, 2019, arranged the sale and purchase transaction of the said car owned by C, as stated in the above 1.
