Defendant shall be punished by a fine of KRW 2,000,000.

When the defendant does not pay the above fine, 100,000 won.

Punishment of the crime

The Defendant was elected as proportional representative C in the 7th nationwide local election, and D is the B Party E Women’s Chairperson, F is the chairman of the said local committee acting as the chairman of the said local committee, and G is the person who was the head of the said local committee.

A candidate (including a person who intends to become a candidate; hereinafter the same shall apply) shall not make a contribution act to a person in the constituency concerned, or an institution, organization, or facility, or a person having relations with the electorate even if it is outside the constituency concerned, or an institution, organization, or facility.

1. Around November 16, 2017, the Defendant, along with H, I, and J around November 2017, set up a show for preparation of candidate and election campaign. On November 13, 2017, the Defendant leased the said apartment by setting the deposit amount of KRW 500,000,000,000,000,000,000 from November 16, 2017 to November 15, 2019.

Since November 16, 2017, from March 2018 to March 2018, the Defendant provided F with the above-leased apartment as above to F in the relevant constituency free of charge, and provided a benefit equivalent to the amount of accommodation expenses.

Accordingly, the defendant, who is a candidate, made a contribution act to a person in the election district concerned.

2. On February 18, 2018, the Defendant: (a) around February 18, 2018, sought to provide three copies of KRW 100,000 gift certificates to D in the instant constituency; (b) but (c) was refused from D.

Nevertheless, the Defendant made a contribution by inserting two copies of the gift certificates on the back of the said car at the instant coffee parking lot, when D intends to leave his own car, by inserting it into the lower part of the said car.

Accordingly, the defendant, who is a candidate, made a contribution act to a person in the election district concerned.

3. Around March 27, 2018, the Defendant is in need of operating expenses for travel companies from the G located in the relevant constituency at an insular place on March 27, 2018, and from the G located in the relevant constituency.
