1. Basic facts
A. The party status of Plaintiff Sung-dong Co., Ltd. (hereinafter “Plaintiff Sung-dong”) is a company that manufactures and sells automobile parts at a factory located in 124, two-dimensional numbers in Gwangju Mine-gu, Gwangju (hereinafter “Seong-dong”) and Plaintiff Young-dong Co., Ltd. (hereinafter “Plaintiff Young-dong”) is a company that manufactures and sells automobile parts at a factory located in 297, which is located in Gwangju Mine-gu, Gwangju.
E. E.S. C., E.S. C., Inc. (hereinafter referred to as “E.S. C. C.,”) is a company that manufactures rubber products, manufactures plastics, etc. from the factory buildings listed in attached Table 2 (hereinafter referred to as “instant building”) adjacent to the P.S. factory.
B. On May 6, 2013, the occurrence of a fire in the instant building, around 15:10, on the instant building, the fire occurred in the instant building owned by Escopic Republic, and the said fire was extended to Escopic factories.
(hereinafter “the instant fire”). The instant fire caused the instant fire to be destroyed by the remaining processing factory 1,980 square meters excluding approximately 208 square meters, and approximately 366 square meters and part of the shipment house, and machinery, equipment, movables, etc. stored in the Defendant’s non-business Dong-dong factory, which had been destroyed by the fire.
C. The Plaintiffs filed a lawsuit against E-U.K. in accordance with Article 758(1) of the Civil Act against E-U.S. C. The Plaintiffs filed a lawsuit against E-U.K. seeking compensation for damages caused by the fire of this case. On November 1, 2015, the judgment of the Gwangju District Court rendered that “The E-U.K. shall pay the Plaintiff E-U.S. 69,705,654 won, and the Plaintiff E-U.S. 614,342,546 won to E-U.S. E-U. P., from May 6, 2013 to August 11, 2015; 20% per annum from August 12, 2015 to September 30, 2015; and 15% per annum from October 1, 2015 to the full payment date.”
