Reasons
1. Details of the disposition;
A. The Plaintiff is a company running a sports integrated platform business that mainly provides sports games relay, sports games, sports data, etc.
B. The Plaintiff developed the game “B,” “C,” and “D” (hereinafter referred to as the “instant game”) that predicted the real-time game outcome, etc. and predicted whether or not they are fit for the broadcast of sports games, and commenced the service by obtaining a rating decision of the Game Management Committee (class juvenile usage fee).
C. The game of this case is carried out in a way that users predicted the result of a sports competition by putting virtual currency held by the users, and then return certain dividend rates to users depending on whether or not it is predicted.
The Plaintiff, as a result of improving the contents of the instant game service, held “BG4 event” during free events from March 4, 2016 to March 31, 2016 for the purpose of publicity.
The contents of the free events are as follows:
