A defendant shall be punished by imprisonment for three years.

Seized evidence No. 1 shall be confiscated.

Punishment of the crime

The Defendant, as a foreigner of Malaysia’s nationality, received a proposal that “B may send Jeju-do trip free of charge for seven days,” from a person who was aware of the so-called “B” through the Malaysia’s advertisement on February 2020, and entered the Jeju Airport on February 10, 2020, following the receipt of the proposal that “I would pay 10% of the price as commission.”

1. The Defendant attempted to commit fraud and violated the Specialized Credit Financial Business Act, around 18:27:34 on February 10, 2020, at E-tax-free shop F stores operated by the victim-free shop Dispute Settlement Bank Co., Ltd., in Jeju-si, the Defendant purchased at least two rooms for female use, two rooms for male use, two Belgium, two 5,983,791 won, and presented to the above G as if the Defendant’s name was duly formed with a forged overseas H credit card (number I), the Defendant attempted to settle the amount equivalent to KRW 5,983,791 on which the Defendant’s name was removed, but was refused to accept the approval from that date until 18:29:53 on the same day.

Accordingly, the Defendant, in collusion with the above-mentioned person, tried to use a forged credit card and acquire pecuniary benefits by deceiving others, but failed to bring about such intent.

2. Fraud and Specialized Credit Financial Business Act violation Defendant, at around 18:48 on February 10, 2020, at L hotels operated by K for the settlement of hotel accommodation expenses to the victim M who is an employee of K for the settlement of the hotel accommodation expenses, presented a forged overseas credit card (number N) with the Defendant’s name known as genuine and forged, signed on the sales slip to use the forged credit card, and settled accommodation expenses of 70,000 won.
