A defendant shall be punished by imprisonment for six months.

However, the execution of the above punishment shall be suspended for one year from the date this judgment becomes final and conclusive.

Punishment of the crime

On September 29, 2017, the Defendant received a summary order of KRW 700,000 from the Busan District Court's branch court to commit a violation of the National Sports Promotion Act (Gambling, etc.).

No person, other than the Seoul Olympic Sports Promotion Foundation or an entrusted business entity, shall provide property or property benefits to persons who correctly predicted the result by issuing sports betting tickets or similar things, or use them for gambling.

Nevertheless, around June 1, 2018, the Defendant connected the Defendant’s company “C”, etc. located in Ulsan-gun, Ulsan-gun, etc. to “D(E)”, which is an Internet illegal sports soil site site, transferred KRW 100,000 to the company bank account (I) in the name of the Defendant in the name of the F Bank (G) to the above gambling site’s gold charging account, and charged with the same amount of the game money. The Defendant: (a) was determined by a contingency opportunity; (b) was engaged in gambling by making an illegal sports soil game that can be commercialized the game money acquired as a result; (c) around June 1, 2018, from January 31, 2019 to January 31, 2019; and (d) deposited KRW 36,9140,000 won in total over 733 billion in total, such as the list of crimes 1; and (d) deposited the game money with KRW 2540,000,2500.

As a result, the Defendant habitually issued sports betting tickets or similar things, and provided the Internet sports soil gambling using the act of providing property or property benefits to the person who correctly predicted the result.
