Punishment of the crime

No medical person, etc. shall receive money, goods, benefits, labor, entertainment, or other economic benefits provided by a person, etc. who has obtained permission for items to promote sales, such as inducing the adoption of drugs.

1. Defendant A is a doctor to operate the “LL” member located in the Republic of Korea, Hanam-si.

A receives a proposal from M (hereinafter referred to as “M”) business operators N andO to provide economic benefits, such as cash, etc., upon receipt of such proposal. A received KRW 2,380,000,000 from N for the purpose of promoting the sale of medicines at the above clinic clinic around February 201, and received KRW 14,00,000,000 from N for the total amount of money from the above clinic from February 201 to October 2013, as shown in the list of crimes in the attached Table (Defendant A) in the above clinic.

As a result, Defendant A received 14 million won in cash provided for the purpose of sales promotion such as inducing adoption of medicines from M.

2. Defendant B is an intention to operate the Qu member’s “P” located in the Southern City.

B Upon receipt of a proposal from M business operators N andO to provide economic benefits, such as cash, etc., in response to the proposal. Around December 2010, M received gift certificates in an amount equivalent to KRW 20,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 from N andO, from around December 2, 2010 to June 2014, both N andO received cash and gift certificates in the above medical care room as shown in the list of crimes in attached Table (Defendant B).

As a result, Defendant B received money equivalent to KRW 6,100,00,00 provided for the purpose of sales promotion such as inducing adoption of medicines from M.

3. Defendant C is the director in charge of the internal department at the “S Hospital” located in Songpa-gu Seoul Metropolitan Government R.
