A defendant shall be punished by imprisonment for not less than eight months.

except that the execution of the above punishment shall be suspended for two years from the date this judgment becomes final and conclusive.

Punishment of the crime

C is a person who was planned to go to the election of the chief director of the above community credit cooperative in Busan Dong-gu from around 1994 to February 6, 2015, and E is a person who was elected after going to the election of the chief director of the above community credit cooperative while he was in office as the chief director of the above community credit cooperative. The defendant is a person who was known to C and E from around 2005.

No person shall mediate the offer of money and valuables for the purpose of getting any specific person elected as an executive of a credit cooperative.

At around 10:00 on January 6, 2015, the Defendant came to know that E and C want to have a lot of talks with each other in connection with the issue of election campaign for the chief director, and that E and C want to have a lot of talks with each other. On the following day, the Defendant arranged for E and C to have a lot of talks in the “(State)G Chairperson” room operated by the Defendant in the F of Busan East-gu, Busan.

At around 11:00 on January 7, 2015, the Defendant discussed to the effect that C should pay C money and valuables to E in return for not going to the election of the chief director, and adjusted to C in compliance with both parties’ intent to exchange money and valuables in return for the election of the said election of the chief director by talking that C should not go to the above election of the chief director upon receiving the price from E.

Then, around 10:10 on January 13, 2015, the Defendant provided the above chairperson's room so that E may have a single room of KRW 100 million, so that the number of money can be easy.

Accordingly, the defendant assisted the provision of money and valuables for the purpose of getting E to be elected as the chief director of the D community credit cooperatives.
