A defendant shall be punished by imprisonment for six months.

Punishment of the crime

With the name of “C(D)”, the Defendant: (a) prepared relevant documents as if he/she had a relative relationship with a citizen of the Republic of Korea; (b) made the applicant for the status of stay to change the status of stay to that of permanent residence (F-5); and (c) made the applicant for the change of the status of stay to that of permanent residence (F-5); and (d) decided that the status of stay is changed.

On February 2, 2010, the Defendant applied for a change of F’s sojourn status by forging documents to the effect that F is in a relationship between the family members of the Defendant, a national, at the E hotel underground casino located in Gwangjin-gu Seoul Special Metropolitan City, from “C,” and accepted the offer of KRW 3 million in cash in the event that the change of F’s sojourn status is successful. On March 17, 2010, the Defendant issued a letter of personal seal impression and seal impression of F and his mother’s relationship with F and his mother’s family, and issued a letter of personal seal impression and seal impression of H and I prepared in advance at the front of the Daegu Special Immigration Office located in the Dong-gu Seoul Special Metropolitan City, Dong-gu, Seoul Special Metropolitan City, and around March 17, 2010.
