Punishment of the crime

Defendant

A is the head of the team of the foregoing funeral hall management office (representative G) entrusted with the operation and management of the E-Medical Foundation F Hospital funeral hall in Gangdong-gu Seoul. Defendant B works for the head of the above funeral hall management office (representative G) while Defendant B works for the head of the above funeral hall management office. The above funeral hall management office provides all services related to funeral events, such as consultation on funeral procedures, care in a staff house, confirmation of whether burial or cremation, and reservation such as cremation, counseling and guidance on funeral services for the bereaved family with no place of funeral, or the designation of a business operator of a place counseling (recommended such as charnel house, etc.) and his/her bereaved family members for this purpose.

Although the Defendants received unlawful solicitation or received money or valuables in return for handling affairs related to funeral events, such as the selection (Recommendation) and introduction of a business operator who will provide counseling services to bereaved families, the Defendants received 75% price of sales commission (40% of the sales commission) from the funeral facility as a result of the field counseling service, and received 75% price of sales commission (or 40% of the sales commission) from the funeral hall and the funeral hall (representative) service provider from H on August 2009, 200, and from H on March 3, 2013 from the director J of the same business operator, the Defendants received money or valuables from each of the above Defendants’ employees in return for the selection of the funeral hall and counseling services to the bereaved families who hold funeral events at the funeral hall at the above hospital.
