Defendant shall be punished by a fine of KRW 700,000.

If the defendant fails to pay the above fine, 50,000 won shall be one day.

Punishment of the crime

Where a credit service provider, etc. intends to continue to engage in credit business even after the term of validity of its registration, it shall renew its registration to the competent administrative agency, and may not place an advertisement for credit business, other than credit service providers or credit financial institutions.

While the Defendant had been running credit business with the trade name “D” and registered in Gangnam-gu Seoul Metropolitan Government as a registration number C, the Defendant continued to engage in credit business from October 1, 2012 to May 30, 2013 without renewal of the registration, and on February 28, 2013, the Defendant advertised credit business using the registration number already cancelled in the regional advertising site of Yeongdeungpo-gu rice market.
