Defendant shall be punished by a fine of KRW 700,000.

Where the defendant fails to pay the above fine, one hundred thousand won shall be one day.

Punishment of the crime

On May 6, 2008, a civil society organization with 1,500 U.S. beef import agreement entered into with the U.S. on April 18, 2008 was organized a "National Countermeasure Committee against Import of U.S. Beef" (hereinafter referred to as the "Countermeasures Committee") for the purpose of organizing a strike against full import of U.S. beef and beef in order to ensure that the agreement on the phased import of U.S. beef concluded with the Government of the Republic of Korea on April 18, 2008 would cause harm to the people's health rights.

From May 2, 2008, the countermeasures conference led to the ‘Madlelightlight meeting against the import of U.S. beef' held in Seoul Cheong River, etc. from May 6, 2008, and held a candlelight meeting, which is an outdoor assembly after sunset from the Cheong River square. After that, on July 19, 2008, a maximum of 1,800 participants in the candlelight assembly occupied the lanes from around 20:00 to July 20, 2008, to around 07:50 on July 20, 2008, and conducted a demonstration by occupying the lanes prior to the road.
