Punishment of the crime

On September 16, 2018, the Defendant sent a false statement to the victim F who reported and contacted with the intent to sell the said game money by visiting the Internet game E operated by the PC in the PPC located in Yongsan-gu, U.S., and expressed the intent to sell the said game money through the speaker of the above game hosting hold, and made a false statement to the effect that “I will pay money if you transfer the money.”

However, there was no game money in fact, and there was no intention or ability to sell the game money to the victim only because it was thought that it was used for fine payment and Internet gambling by the victim.

As above, the Defendant, by deceiving the victim, received KRW 168,00 from the victim’s G bank account (H) in the name of the Defendant, and took over KRW 2,778,50 from around that time to December 13 of the same year all of the same year, as shown in the annexed crime list, by means of the above 26 times.

On November 11, 2018, the Defendant posted a false statement to the effect that “The sales of game money” by accessing the Internet E-game at the Cheongju-si and using the loudspeaker of the said game,” and that “the victim I, who reported and contacted, sent money, will send money to the victim I.”

However, the defendant did not have the intent or ability to send the game money even if he received money from the victim because he did not own the game money.

On November 11, 2018, the Defendant, by deceiving the victim as above, received 42,00 won from the J bank account under the name of the Defendant from the victim to the J bank account under the name of the Defendant, and acquired 274,400 won in total on four occasions from around that time to December 1, 2018 by means specified in the attached crime list.
