1. Defendant L = 29,511,942 won for Plaintiff A, 2,00,000 won for Plaintiff B, 3,000,000 won for Plaintiff C, and 29,427 for Plaintiff D.
Reasons
1. Basic facts
A. Plaintiff A and Plaintiff B, Plaintiff D, Plaintiff E, Plaintiff G, and Plaintiff H are their respective couples, and Plaintiff C and Plaintiff A and Plaintiff B, Plaintiff D and Plaintiff E, and Plaintiff I are their respective children, respectively.
(hereinafter referred to as Plaintiff A, Plaintiff D, Plaintiff E, Plaintiff G, and Plaintiff H collectively; and Plaintiff C, Plaintiff F, and Plaintiff I collectively are students of this case).
Defendant J and Defendant K operated a program, “A preparatory course for admission to, and admission to, a U.S. University” (hereinafter referred to as the “instant program”) that allows students to take lessons at, the education center located in the Philippines for one year, and obtain cultural credits from, the Republic of Korea National University, and allow students to take part of the said credits.
C. Defendant L was operating a mutual study institute of P in Seoul. D.
The instant parents participated in the process of 2015 of the instant program with the aim of having the instant students enter the U.S. O-U.S. University (Plaintiff C, Plaintiff F) or join the said University (Plaintiff I).
According to the instant program, the instant student obtained cultural credits (at least 12 credits) from the Republic of Korea National University of the Philippines from March 2015 to October 2015, and was scheduled to start with the United States after completing the U.S. visa and air reservation from November 2015 to January 2016.
E. On December 2015, the instant students obtained the admission from the O-U University. Around that time, the instant parents were instructed by Defendant J and Defendant K to proceed with the procedures, such as filing a visa for studying in the O-U-U-U-U-U-U-U-U-U-U-U-U-U-U-U-U-U-U-U-U-U-U.
F. Defendant L = 28,240 U.S. dollars with school expenses and dormitory expenses for the Plaintiffs around the beginning of December 2015.
