Punishment of the crime

Defendant

A and B, from June 2014, are serving as the 10th City Council member from around C, and D is the representative director of (ju) G for the purpose of the installation of solar street lamps in E building F.

1. From August 2014 to September 1, 2014, Defendant A requested that “it is difficult for the Defendant to start (ju)G A, a solar light light business entity, to set up solar street lamps,” and around that time, Defendant A drafted a budget for “I business” with Defendant’s expense at the discretion of the Si Council members of the Si Council via H’s office having jurisdiction over the Defendant’s residence.

Accordingly, in the Si of C, a budget was compiled for the above project at the expense of the Si Council members of the Si Council of Defendant In order to grant the pertinent budget to the H Gu. Since August 2015, H was selected as the Corporation (State) in the implementation of the above project from around August 2015, and (State) G was supplied and installed with solar street lights in the J Park and the K Park in the amount of KRW 28.42 million on September 25, 2015, and received the payment from the budget calculated at the cost of the Si Council members of the Si Council of Defendant in the H Gu.

In the foregoing process, the Defendant received KRW 500,000 from L on August 2015, under the name of the case of subsidization of discretionary project costs, etc. in the vicinity of the cafeteria.

Accordingly, the defendant accepted a bribe equivalent to KRW 500,000 in relation to his duties.

2. Defendant B received the request from D to May 6, 2016, that “The C City budget allows the construction of solar street lamps,” and around that time, Defendant B had the budget manager who compiled the C City budget through the N-Gu office having jurisdiction over the Defendant’s constituency to compile the budget for the “O project” at the discretion of the Si Council of the Defendant.

Accordingly, in the case of C, it is necessary to compile a budget for the above projects at the expense of the Si Council members of the city of the defendant, and deliver the budget to Q elementary schools in P.
