A defendant shall be punished by a fine of 500,000 won.
If the defendant does not pay the above fine, 50,000 won.
Reasons
Punishment of the crime
The defendant, as the head of the D branch in Gwangju North-gu, was a person who was going to the election of the executive director of the Gwangju Agricultural Bank on July 16, 2012.
No person shall express his/her intention to provide money, goods, entertainment, other economic benefits, or a public or private position, or promise to provide such, for the purpose of having himself/herself or a specific person elected or not to be elected as an executive or representative of a local agricultural cooperative.
1. Around March 2012, the Defendant provided meals equivalent to KRW 15,000, to G members of the “F cafeteria” located in Gwangju Northern-gu, and to G, the members of the “F cafeteria,” who are non-standing directors of Gwangju-gu, “The head director, the thickness support for the head director,” and provided meals equivalent to KRW 15,00.
2. On May 3, 2012, the Defendant provided meals equivalent to KRW 24,00,00, to G, including “I restaurant” located in Gwangju Northern-gu H, and “We support the base of directors, directors, and standing directors,” and provided meals equivalent to KRW 24,00.
3. On May 25, 2012, at around 17:30, the Defendant rendered meals equivalent to KRW 42,000 to the members of the J, a non-standing director of the NA in Gwangju Northern-gu, “I wish to leave the 17:30,000.”
Accordingly, the defendant provided meals of 39,000 won to G, a member of the NA for the purpose of being elected as the agricultural standing director of Gwangju City, and provided the J with meals of 42,00 won.
