A defendant shall be punished by imprisonment for one year.

However, even though there was no need to undergo hospital treatment due to the fact that the Defendant subscribed to multiple insurance as above, the Defendant was hospitalized with mind to receive the benefit of the insurance he subscribed to, and did not receive proper hospital treatment, such as simple drug treatment that can sufficiently be treated while visiting the hospital.

Nevertheless, on November 6, 2008, the Defendant received KRW 1,328,010 as insurance proceeds, such as daily allowances for hospitalization, by submitting a written confirmation, etc. to the insurance company, as if he/she had been hospitalized in the above hospital for 14 days due to the need for hospitalized treatment.

In addition, from that time until June 17, 2016, the Defendant filed a claim for hospitalized treatment for 293 days in total, as indicated in the list of crimes [Attachment], and filed a claim for insurance proceeds on a total of 593 days, and then this life insurance company (hereinafter referred to as “AI life”) and the Korea Non-Life Insurance Co., Ltd.
