Defendant shall be punished by a fine of KRW 700,000.

When the defendant does not pay the above fine, 100,000 won.

Punishment of the crime

An international marriage broker shall obtain personal information (Marriage experience, criminal experience, occupation and health examination) from a user who has entered into an international marriage brokerage contract and the other party to the international marriage brokerage, and provide the user of international marriage and his/her other party with the personal information in writing after obtaining certification from a notary public of the relevant country.

The Defendant, along with D, is a person who has entered into a contract for international marriage brokerage services with G while operating an international marriage broker in Nowon-gu in Seoul Special Metropolitan City with the trade name "F International Marriage."

On January 22, 2015, the Defendant introduced “I” to G in accordance with the above contract at H hotel located in the Si of the Si of Vietnam, and did not provide a document of certification stating personal information, such as marriage history, occupation, health status, and criminal history.

Accordingly, in collusion with D, the defendant acted as an international marriage broker without providing users with personal information in advance.
