Defendant shall be punished by a fine of KRW 2,000,000.

When the defendant does not pay the above fine, 100,000 won.

Punishment of the crime

No one shall cover a registration number plate nor make it illegible.

Nevertheless, around November 3, 2013, the Defendant placed the reflect tape in front of the registration number plate C 5 si operated by the Defendant in order to avoid the detection of unmanned control camera at the front of the registration number plate C 5 si and made it difficult to identify the registration number plate.

The following circumstances, i.e., ① a reflect tape is attached to a registration number plate, ② in light of the management status of the vehicle number plate at the time of discovery and the Defendant’s occupation and career as an individual taxi driver, etc., the Defendant appears to have easily known that the reflect tape is attached to the registration number plate, ③ the Defendant is likely to have set up a reflect tape in order to injure himself, but it is difficult for the Defendant to accept the Defendant’s above change in the charges in light of the fact that the police officer reported the registration number plate of the Defendant’s vehicle to the effect that he did not initiate investigation, but rather reported the registration number plate of the Defendant’s vehicle.
