Defendant shall be punished by a fine of KRW 700,000.

If the defendant does not pay the above fine, 50,000 won.

Punishment of the crime

The defendant is the head of the field office of the Emiddle Multi-Purpose lecture and meal room extension work in Busan Metropolitan City, which is performed by C Construction, and is the safety and health management manager who exercises overall control over and manages matters concerning safety and health, such as prevention of harm and hazards of workers belonging

In order to prevent electric shock risks caused by water leakage, the Defendant is obligated to contact with the non-static metal body exposed with the voltage exceeding 150 V from site voltage, among the electric machinery and appliances connected to and used by the code and plugs.

Nevertheless, on November 5, 2013, the Defendant did not contact the metal body exposed to a cut machine at the site by linking flugs to electric power source of 220 V voltages.

Accordingly, the defendant did not take necessary measures to prevent industrial accidents in carrying out the business.
