피고인은 2017. 9. 17. 22:15 경 B 스포 티지 승용차를 운전하여 공주시 금 벽로 368에 있는 생명과학고등학교 앞 도로를 따라 공주 IC 방면에서 부여 방면으로 진행함에 있어, 차량 진행 신호가 정지 신호로 바뀌는 것을 무시하고 그대로 교차로에 진입한 업무상 과실로, 당시 위 교차로를 우 성 방면에서 전막 사거리 방면으로 진행하던 피해자 C(34 세) 운전의 D BMW 승용차의 좌측 뒷문 부분을 위 스포 티지 승용차의 앞 범퍼 부분으로 들이받고, 이어서 위 스포 티지 승용차가 튕겨 져 나가면서 반대 차로에서 신호 대기로 정차 중이 던 피해자 E(28 세) 운전의 F 포터 화물차의 앞 범퍼 부분을 뒤 스포 티지 승용차의 뒷 범퍼 부분으로 들이받아, 위 C에게 약 6 주간의 치료를 요하는 쇄골의 골절 등의 상해를, 위 E에게 약 1 주간의 치료를 요하는 우측 무릎 외측 부위 염좌 등의 상해를 각 입게 하였다.
