A defendant shall be punished by imprisonment for six months.

However, the execution of the above punishment shall be suspended for two years from the date this judgment becomes final and conclusive.

Punishment of the crime

Any person who conducts speculative business shall be equipped with facilities and speculative instruments prescribed by Ordinance of the Ministry of Public Administration and Security by type of business and obtain permission therefor from the commissioner of a district police agency.

On May 3, 2019, the Defendant knew that the said gambling site operator, which was known at the Internet homepage, operated a “shortball” or a “private bridge game” without obtaining permission from the Commissioner of the Local Police Agency, and, even though he knew that the said gambling site operator operated the illegal gambling site, he/she will be in charge of the “passing” role of withdrawing money deposited in the gambling-related account from May 31, 2019 to the operator of the gambling site, and around June 3, 2019 to the “passing” role of withdrawing money deposited in the gambling-related account from the operator of the gambling-related site.
